as most of u know i have a fox body mustang like most im lowering it 3 inches i know in the front you need drop spindles but in the back how do i make it drop that 3 inches ive been on google forever now and came up empty handed can anyone please help me thanks
 
is it a special kind of coil over spring? because im buyin daves coil over kit my whole car is soon to be tubular and i jus cant figure it out so do i jus buy a shorter spring?
 
If your going to be running coil overs then you can adjust ride height a few different ways. You can change the mounting height of the coil over, you can adjust the spanner nuts on the shock body to raise/lower the car, and depending on your spring tension it can help lower the cars stance. If your just going to run a factory style rear spring and a seperate shock, then you would simply run a shorter spring as well as a spring with different tension.
 
oh alright thanks for the help! so itd prolly be best to get a double adjustable rear coil overs then?

In order to use those whoever is working on you car needs to know ahead of time that's what your using. They need to weld different/new mounts on your axle to relocate the coil over. Ive got a hatch with stock style rear springs and 50/50 shocks with an anti roll bar welded in. Car goes 10.80's on motor(302), and hooks amazing on the street as well. Car doesn't twist or do anything stupid what so ever. Full power interior blah blah blah. Up to you what you want to use for the rear suspension. In my opinion coil overs aren't nessicary unless you plan on making this a track only vehicle.
 
it is gonna be track only its a grudge car in the works... and im doing it all myself with a lil help from a few people who have done this a few times before lol
