caused me to have an easy ass day at work , was only there for 1.5 hours and ended up going home to watch the game , on the way home thow I got stuck on my street and wasn't paying attention to my gauges and was more focused on trying to get un-stuck and make it home , wasn't beating on my truck at all but it ended up getting hot and in the red zone on the temp , instantly shut it down and let it cool off for a while , started it back up and noticed a knock , clean oil , oil is full , oh well ... going to drive it easily till it goes or till I come up with money to v8 swap it , wich leads me to my question lol
2002 blazer xtreme , whats the absolute easiest and cheapest way I can put a 5.3liter or 6.0 liter in it ? ive been doing my research and reading for a while and all say it basicly cant be done for under 2k unless the parts are given to you ..... all I need is a stock 5.3 or 6.0 and a 2wd 4l60e , my main concern is ive read you need the drive shaft shortened 2 inches , wire harness and computer tune after the swap is done
I wouldn't be against putting a 350+ carb engine in it as long as I can keep a 4l60e and all my stock gauges work , seems like it would be easier to swap than a LS
school me guys lol
