Strut mount???

I have a strut mount that needs to be replaced on my 2001 Bonne. I wan tto know I can just drop it in from the top or is the shock needs to be removed??

Strut has to be dropped... Easiest way is to jack the corner up and do the usually safety precautions... Just unbolt the strut from the top and bottom... Drop it down... and replace it and throw it back up...
