strange double adjustable rear shock question

there are two knobs on my strange double adjustable real coilover shock, witch on is compression and which one is rebound?

if not just turn one all the + and see if comp or rebound gets stiffer

I'm 95% sure that the metal one is compression and the plastic one is rebound. Dave could tell you for sure.
