stolen truck help!

My mom's boyfriend's truck was stolen sunday afternoon from the cobo underground parking garage. It's a white with purple racing checkered strips down the sides 1994 Chevy quad cab dually pickup truck. The truck is lowered and on airbags and has CARS inc. on the doors. If anyone can keep an eye for it around Detroit it would be very helpful. I am trying to get a picture tomorrow. Thanks

Detroit pd said go fuck yourself they got more important shit to deal with. 5 trucks were stolen over the weekend from the garage. They said they didnt have the man power to go check the camera's. Hoping for an insurance write off. Because i doubt the truck is even intact if they find it.

I would be surprized if it was taken apart...I would put my bet on it being used to scrap, you cant push your shopping cart on the scale

They have a thing for older white Silverados I guess. CJmatt's was stolen right in front of his royal oak house in a nice neighborhood last summer.

Wish one time, just one time, that they would try this at someones house, where the owner wakes up and has a ccw and takes care of it. Seems like it never happens.

Like ive said its a victim less crime police dont care its not just detroit its all police departments, crimes against property just get filed away. wait 30 days collect check from Insurance company and count down till shelly is in here defending the police departments

They like the white ones too. That is the best selling color, so out on the road they can blend in. Bullshit, guess its a motivator to keep full coverage on them to be safe. Paul actually wants his white sierra to get stolen, but it wont now haha.

I have a question, everyone knows these vehicles are being stolen, why does it seem like know one is putting kill switch on their vehicles. I know that knowone listens when alarms go off but I have 2 kill switches on my dually, if they can find them or want to spend the time to try and by pass them they can but in most cases they wont and then go to your truck that does not have one. I put them on more because when I have my trailer hooked up I dont want anyone to take it but it works the same for the truck one kills the power going to the started solonid the other power from the key. I know you still will have some damage but I would rather have my truck and some damage then gone.

Friend had a neat kill switch in his Z28, and they still stole it from his back yard with the gate locked. Locks are to keep honest people honest. If a thief wants it they'll get it.

waiting on the word from the insurance company. I doubt we'll ever see it again. Probably used to commit other crimes with then dumped and stripped. No criminal is gonna fill a diesel trucks tank with diesel

Nothing is fool proof, a car like that, they probably wanted that car and they can hook a tow truck to it, if they want it bad enough they will stick a gun in your face and take it, in most cases people have kill switch they have to turn on and they forget. In cases like these truck they are looking for a truck not a specific truck and before they spend to much time trying to steal one with a kill switch in a high trafic area they will just go the next one.
