I feel bad for the owners, but come on.....who the hell would leave a nice Olds in a hotel parking lot? I couldn't sleep if that were my car out there. Hell, they are not even safe in enclosed trailers.

It was a national meet, where should they have left them? There were a couple hundred H/O's parked at these 2 hotels, many were of the 68-72 models, which are extremely valuable, but the thieves targeted the late A/G bodies. Everyone who attended the meet was under the impression that there would be security posted at night, there wasnt.

I read that part, I just still don't get why anybody would leave those cars anywhere. Any moron knows that those 80's Cutty's, Monte's and Regal's are hot. Theives love those cars.

Thats correct my first car was a 87 SS and they stolen it one night from my house in Macomb Twp. When I got my 86 Cutlass I got a expensive alarm and my folks let me keep it in the garage at night.

Over the years I have been here, I have heard plenty of sad stories. They just couldn't keep these cars together. Shit always kept happening to them.

Every once in a while I see some original, clean, V6 Cutlass' with hub caps and there is a little old lady driving it. God forbid some car jacker throws an elderly lady on the street for her car.

Then you have the 442 Black with Orange stripes. Those things are the best looking cars Olds ever made.
