Only for a little while will they sell for that much. In fact a friend picked one up for *only* 7K above mspr.

And the Z06 doesnt go for more than sticker. I know 2 people so far who bought it at sticker. Not sticker plus 25,000. Its still a mustang folks no matter whos name is on it. Im going to buy a GT and call it the BIG J and mark it up 10k.:icon_mrgr

The way the market is, anything above MSRP is to much. Mustang or aveo, it doesnt matter. Your getting ripped and suckered for paying over sticker for anything since you lose yer ass driving it off the lot. No matter what it is.

Those people are lucky to get it for sticker... z06's around here are still marked up...
 
who cares what the price of the competition is.. the Z06 is still faster.

that's like the Lightning v srt-10 ram argument, well if the lightning had the differnce in price in mods, the lightning would be faster.

well stock it isn't. seems simple to me,.

it does matter, lol If I bought a z06 it BETTER be faster the car in the other lane that was 20K less.

whatever, tell it to the judge. Stop mixing words around, everyone else in this thread knew exactly what I was talking about but you keep talking like a lawyer, this isnt a court room, youre not keeping a guilty guy out of jail!

we are comapring 2 cars that are basically in the same class right(not quite but close). The z06 is a bad ass car that is well a +70K car. The shelby is a nice car that is alot less then 70k. Now if I had to choose and money not being an option I personally would choose the vette hands down. YOu get what you pay for plain and simple. You pay big bucks for vette and you get a super car.

If I bought a vette and had a mustang beat me stock for stock I would be pissed. It shouldnt be that way.

Oh I totally agree. But when a giant wad of money fell into my friend's lap he closed his business, bought a 10 acre spread, and put an order in for a GT500.

At this point he doesn't give a shit about what he loses on the car.

Also don't forget the ZO6 has been out a lot longer then the GT500 so pricing issuses can really be thrown out the window.
