Correct Your Bumpsteer with this Bumpsteer Kit that features spherical rod-ends with tapered shafts for a hassle-free installation that requires no drilling of the spindle for fit. Recommended for all lowered Mustangs with X2 Balljoints and/or caster camber plates. Now available with a wider range of adjustment than other kits.
Definition: Bumpsteer is a change in toe* angle caused by the suspension moving up or down. Bumpsteer is built into the geometry of the suspension and steering system, and has nothing to do with turning the steering wheel. The effect of bumpsteer is for the wheel to toe-in or toe-out when the suspension moves up or down. This toe change or “steering” occurs any time the suspension moves, whether it is from body roll, brake-dive, or hitting a bump in the road. Steeda's beautiful CNC machined billet camber adjusters allow for consistent, easy camber adjustment on S197 Mustangs. Unlike cheap camber bolts, these plates allow for a much larger range of adjustment and remain consistent under load. Camber bolts will tend to "walk" under loads changing your alignment settings and producing inconsistent handling and tire wear. Our plates will hold their alignment settings under any load or condition. Our plates allow you to add positive camber to reduce tire wear or negative camber for racing. Camber is easily adjusted by changing camber shims provided with the kit once installed making them perfect for quick camber changes in between rounds of competition.
Steeda's plates are made out of 7075 billet aluminum, not 6061 like the cheap copy cats and have the highest range of adjustment of any system currently available. Don't settle for anything less, buy the best today!

As used on Steeda's Q335 Mustangs, Steeda's plates are .070 larger than the O.E. plates and are a better port match to the intake manifold and cylinder heads than the original plates, reducing turbulence and improving airflow in the intake path for more horsepower and torque!
Beautifully CNC'd machined out of 6061-T6 aluminum for superior strength and light weight. Steeda's charge motion plates are available with tapped nitrous fitting holes for custom nitrous applications. Steeda's charge motion plates require computer recalibration for use which is available with Steeda's Xcalibrator2 or Steeda Predator tuners! Once tuned charge motion plates will not sacrifice any low end torque and provide midrange and upper rpm horsepower and torque increases. While they get the damping job done, they can be prone to fatigue, sagging and/or leaking even with only limited hard use. These direct replacements eliminate the hydra-coupling, and do a better job of directing your engine's efforts to the wheels as well as maintaining proper engine/driveline geometry. Supplied with with two sets of bushings with different durometer ratings, making it a very versatile kit for street or race use.

Gain horsepower and torque with this straightforward upgrade. Lifetime filter can be cleaned and re-oiled, but the big news here is that we've streamlined the airflow in the 05 Mustang to the point that a computer re-flash isn't just an option, it's required!
The kit is supplied with a stainless steel air box with built-in velocity stack and CNC billet aluminum mass air meter. It mounts in the factory location with the supplied rubber trim to seal it against the hood & fender to keep the hot air out. Our tests showed inlet temps a mere 10 degrees above ambient temperature. The Steeda Lifetime Filter can easily be cleaned and re-oiled, making maintenance a snap. All hardware required for installation is included in the kit.
We've found between 16 -20 more rear wheel horsepower with this kit.
