You can start to feel it engage about half pedal but then the rest of the way it doesn't do a thing until the last 1/8-1/4 inch of travel. then its all or nothing.
They want me to to put the top disk next to the flywheel and remeasure the clearance. Then if its not right I will have to reshim it. I measured the clearnce when we put it in . It was within their spec of .020-.025

what clutch are you even running? SPEC bullshit?

Maybe you should have a real tech look at it. Give Saso a call, he does wonders on my car :D
 
What your explaining to me..would definitly lead me to believe you shimd it incorrectly. I know this isnt your first go round with a clutch...so how you did that.. :lol:
 
they shim it. The shims are not for the slave like all the other clutches. The shims are for the floater plate. The clutch is preassembled and checked by them then you take it apart and install it on the car with everything in the same location
