Stand Up Jet Ski Info

440/550 to 650/750 swaps are still very popular. Check out the Vintage Skis forum on PWCToday.com Lots of great info over there. Everything said here is right, you can have a blast on anything, and there's TONS of tinkering you can do with the old skis.

I remember fitting 650's in 440's, but you could only fit one pipe (westcoast?) ...I forget. I figured finding some parts would be hard.
God we switch everything...jugs...pipes ..heads ...jet cones... ride plates... Teflon the bottoms... alum flywheels.... 90% mini grinders so we could move the windows on the jugs.... wire edm the cranks and made pins for stroker cranks.....
It was a disease

I had a 650 in my 550 until I decided it wasn't fast enough and parted it out to build my 1100 triple Sxr, if you have any questions about this also let me know. Did a lot of research before setting mine up.
