Food, drinks, and snacks are shopped for, everything (minus my pillows) is packed, the wood has been picked up, a couple of the meals are already prepped for, I dropped 90% of mine and Joe's stuff off to Rob...I'm ready to go. Joe and I will be headed to Rob's place at 8:00am tomorrow and should be out of Rob's by 9:30am-10:00am. That should put us at Tony's on I-75 at 11:15-11:30ish.

Weather for the weekend is looking good, not great Some spotty rain throughout the weekend isn't bad. Last year was THE SUCK though! :lol:

Meeting up with some folks to caravan up tomorrow morning around 10:30 off of W. Vienna Rd. (Clio, MI exit). Let me know if you want to roll up with us. Next stop is Birch Run for lunch.

PS - I grabbed a 6-pack of paper towels, 150 paper plates, some cit. candles, bug spray, and a few snacks that I'll be willing to share (at no charge). :lol: Got some beer & Propel too, but those are for me. :icon_smil

The weather usually sucks but I keep going. And Christmas is closer to 2.5 hours, each way. Roughly 120 miles from our campground. The food there is so so. You eat up the majority of the day. Not worth 5 hours of windshield time.

Nor do I care what you do. No one said the group had to stay together. It hasn't in years past there's no reason why this year should be any different. There's no way for everyone to want to do the exact same thing for a whole day let alone 4 days. I am chill, these 4 days away are my opportunity to do exactly that.

Watch out for deer. Apparently there are TONS of them getting hit up there, very over populated.. I've had one woman alone for two deer with two vehicles in two weeks from going up 75 to their cabin on the weekends.
