St. Ignace 2008...who's going?

1.) Your clothes could have dried in time. There is a laundromat right in St. Ignace if you wanted them to dry faster.
2.) You could have easily dried your tent out. We all had towels that we had already used to shower with we would have all been willing to use to soak up the little water that got in there.
3.) Baker's shit got wet and stuck it out and had a good time.
4.) We went as a group and MOST of us stuck it out and had a good time as a group.
5.) He did drive up with us. You took the tent that not only did he partially pay for, but was sleeping in, without saying a word to him or knew if the rest of us had any room for him. You guys got back from your little trip to where ever you went and just started packing shit up. Classy move. :thumbup:
6.) I don't recall what time we stayed up till, it doesn't matter.

1. Yeah... ok. Next time it happens Ill let you carry all of my wet cloths, John's, Caryn's and Shari's at least a 1/2 mile to downtown through vendors and thousands of people from the nearest parking spot to pay for our clothes to get dried.
2. Thanks for the offer... little late huh?
3. I didn't see a puddle under his bed when he moved it... must have been mistaken for humidity.
4.We did also... again what did we miss?? Nothing.
5.Yes he did chip in for it, and we could of left it. But that conversion was never brought up.
6.I agree... we didn't miss anything. It doesn't matter!


I just caught Scuba as I was driving back from the shower... and he was in a big ass hurry because he was the last one out. The 15 mins it took you guys to get through town was the 15 mins that the four of us hurried to get ready and meet you guys just after we got off the exit by the gas station.

Last year had a lot of Drama... but this year I think has passed that. Our "group" had a lot of fun, and thanks for inviting us this year, but in years to come things will change.
 
OH. And I am glad the girlfriends cookies went over well, plus the chips, plates, and utensils :)

Al, thank your wife for the cookies.. Those rocked!

I hope things do change. Compared to last year, this year was shitty, and not just because of the weather.
 
I only went to the falls because i saw you guys driving by the street. I was in the parking lot wanting to go the island, but changed my mind after deciding I didn't want to spend 50 bucks to see the same thing i saw last year.

If we do the falls again next year we should see the LOWER. Going to the UPPER 2 years in a row was pointless.
 
wow maybe i didnt miss to much not going... sound like a wet, and drama filled time...
ive had a couple phone calls seeing how i was doing and they all end with somebodys mad at somebody, or somebody did this and didnt think of doing that... i dont know whole stories on all sides, but i think its probably safe to say it had alot to do with the females of the group, or there was alot of manvajayjays this year...

Yeah, I sensed tension in the air... my girl and I had a disagreement about 1 thing but it worked out :D We had a good time. She kept having nightmares about spiders in the tent and stuff like that... She *hates* spiders... I slept like a log every night, even thru the monsoon... Well, except for when I heard Al's snoring across the camp and thought it was a black bear ....

I still have a hard time believing you guys heard me from like 100ft away. I think you guys are just fucking with me.

It is sooo hard to have that many people agree on one thing at the same time all the time....last year was a bit hectic, but i think it was fine(besides my son[adam] being left on the island with a black man[joe]...lol)...but this year i kinda hate to say it but i think i made the right choise as to not go...i plan on going next year as long as it doesn't interfere with the honeymoon..im saving money now...so lets hope next year will be better than what this year sounded like...
