Getting there..

Im thinking about having my Sober Buddy Drive my Colorado up there.. So we can load the back up with People and hit BLVD. Drive off Pointe Le Barbe Rd..

Anyone ever go Back there?

Its gets pretty nutty.. Alotta After hours partying.. Its a Dust mess to get back there but a good view of the Bridge and alotta Drunken Chaos

Is it a local thing, or do all the car show people hang out there?
 
one year we walking from party to party.. There where Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, Edmore, and Flint Guys partying back there..

Got Pretty Nutty.. One guy was just standing out by his Truck getting a nobber..

We didnt go back there much last year though.. Because we didnt have a Truck
 
Seeing as how we are now in the home stretch (only 29 days away) it might be a good idea to make a list of necessary items and good suggestions for things to bring up there for the weekend, in hopes that no one forgets something because they didn't think about it.

Necessities:
Shirts (long and short sleeved)
Sweatshirt (at least 1)
Jeans
Shorts
Shoes
Socks
Under garments
Flip flops/sandals (for the shower so that your feet aren't touching the floor)
Towels
Tent
Sleeping bag/blanket (get's cold at night even if it is late June)
Pillow(s)
Shampoo and conditioner
body soap of some kind
toothbrush
toothpaste
Flash light(s)
Food/snacks and drinks
Cooler for food and drinks
Extra bag of some kind for dirty clothes and dirty towels
Chair(s)



Good ideas:
Air mattress
electric pump for said air mattress
Tarp for under tent in case it rains
Extra (heavier duty) tent stakes
Bug repellent
Tiki torches
Camera
Condoms (for those of you planning on banging some strange)
Hammer with claw (to bang in your tent stakes and later pull them out)
Wall plug cell phone charger
Extension cord to run into your tent for that cell phone charger and any other electronics you bring with you.
AC/DC adapter if needed
Hair Care Products
Skin Care Products
Bottled water
1st aid kit of some kind


What am I missing?

For what it's worth, I just got back from Sports Authority on Gratiot, south of 15 mile, and found that they have a lot of really nice tents on clearence right now. For example, they have a Coleman 8 person, 2 room tent for like $80-$90, a 6 person 1 room tent for like $50-$60, etc.

still going to the madness that will be going on up in st.ignas. the truck goes in for exhaust next week and that should be about it. i should have a couple of weeks to drive it and somewhat break it in or break something. as far as i know jeff-urdone4 jamie-1badsn95 and myself will be entering our vehicles in the show early that morning.

Sams Club had some cheap camping gear also.. tents in the ~$50 range.

sun screen! Unless thats what you call skin care products, then i'm sorry..
