St. Ignace 2008...who's going?

I spend like 7-10 days in NY as it is. So i allready take a few extra off w/o pay. And during that time alot of plants are on shut down so they need me.

They survived before you worked there, they will survive if you're off for a few days.

This year Christmas falls on a Thursday. I don't know what you do for a living, but you will likely get Thursday (25) and Friday the 26th off paid...right?

Saturday (27) and Sunday (28) off

Use your 3 leftover paid vacation days for Monday (29), Tuesday (30), and Wed (31). Next year you get 2 weeks, right? Dip into a few of those days for the first couple days of January.

I'm not going to call your boss and ask for your days off for you. This seems like a no-brainer to me. :cool:

i do cad work, automotive plant layouts. yes i would get paid for the 25th and 26th, unless they have a huge shutdown and need me to work, its possible, but not as possible if i ask for time off now. Im a year and a half into this company and its a good career oppertunity for my age so i kinda have to work if they ask me.

I can ask about that idea tho, never thought of that. I will ask monday.

Now back on topic, dont wanna de-rail this thread.

You know my plan is fucking awesome! It works out perfectly. Hell, they might give you a raise for really thinking this shit out and showing them how efficient you are with both yours, and their, time! :cool:
