HUH?


It was supposed to get painted a couple weeks ago but I didn't have the money and I haven't taken the A/c system, brake booster and everything out yet

This guy a friend of yours or will he work at that kind of pricing for others? Wouldn't mind having my cage taken care of professionally as well as maybe the engine bay.

i'm sure he can work out a good price. his name is Carlo's Diaz "FireShots" is the name of his little gig. GPowrie (greg) gave me his number because he did some work on gregs white cobra and he knows a friend of a friend one of those deals...but he does side work. he works for some dealership i don't know where, but behind his house (clarkston area..) he has a nice big garage that he turned into a mini body shop, he has a down draft booth he made, has his own frame rack, all kinds of cool shit. does good work for the $$ and turns shit around really fast. he does custom air brushing too, he specializes in that "true fire" stuff. he actually did some on my valve covers. i didn't want it and told him it was getting covered up but he did it anyways. it looks sweet it's just not my kind of thing that's all.

i forgot to take him my brake booster so i might swing by his place later and drop if off.
 
Cool. I like the quick turnaround time. Seems to be pretty hard to find in a body shop without getting shitty work.

he is a very hard worker and does good work. The turn around was almost half of what he told me.

i just need to finish up some little BS, and it's been the busy season at my work so i've had no time. 10-13 hour days all week put a toll on ya
 
Looks good.

Can't beat XS power for the intercooler either. They are really nice and damn affordable. Had one of their pieces on one of my cars.
 
the 3rd motor is being assembled now I believe, they had some unexpected problems but the car is sill Matt's and is very close to running again I'm told.
