SS4Matt is answering 1badair's call out Sweetness Inside !

i never said that...i wanted to keep it, but if it had to go i had no problem pitching it...the cam is still the same one so it should have great street manners

I thought you did, whatever..looks bad ass, would have been cool to see it have a/c.

I was just there today and saw this thing in person. All I can say is that the pictures don't even do justice to the beauty of this setup... It is a work of art. From the handmade headers that fit absolutely perfect, to the nice touches of the intercooler and transcooler bracketing, its amazing.

I know that there are some really good fabricators on this board and some of them get hyped alot around here. But I'm telling you right now that these guys do as nice of work as ANYONE on this board. Sean and Greg are modest, but I would put the work of this Camaro up against anything else I've seen posted from any other sponsor around here.

That's just my 2cents.

well the last time you saw the car when you picked up my stock radiator was when we were still going with 6L truck manifolds, and those you can't keep the AC at all because of how low they sit. we decided to just build headers because we couldn't squeeze a 4" downpipe through the K-member with how those truck manifolds sat in there.... the headers were about $700 worth of materials but they came out looking very nice!

the AC is gone, but the heat is still there, we just cut the ac portion of the heater box off and then sealed it all off with that block off plate. i still need some air moving in the car and something for the windshield

Yeah the painted engine bay really cleans these cars up since they have that ugly dull ass paint under the hood from factory...

i went the cheap route, i'de really like some bogarts or something, but maybe another year. i picked up some used pro-stars cheap last fall. but i'm going to wait until i can afford some aerospace brakes because grinding the stock breaks all down doesn't sit easy with me, so i'll just wait until spring to get brakes and throw the prostars on. for now it just has the black Z06's still.

My engine bay is most likely getting painted before mine goes back together too. Just have to find the $250 for the guy to do it

nice, i paid $600 to have my intake and valve covers done gloss black along with the headlight brackets, and then he finished a lot of the body work under the hood and painted it all. i'm very pleased with how it came out. the notch in the drivers frame rail he finsh welded and smoothed out, he also finished up the patch panel i put in on the passanger side fender and bondo'd it nice and smooth. not to mention i dropped it off on a monday night and he called me thursday afternoon saying it was done!
