Bullshit, 2 years ago a friend of mine bought a perfect capri from nebraska, under 60k miles, manual, 5.o carbed w/ 8.8 update, and tenholes for under 4k and drove it back home to MI

In regards to the condition: Its in awesome shape, so far as I can tell. Looks just as good as the picture.

Yes, its pricey, but the guy said he was willing to work on the price if somebody was interested. And he seems to know what he's doing when it comes to cars/trucks. He's got a beast of a Super Duty with a V10, lifted on big tires and some serious cash spent on suspension parts (all the flashy stuff). That thing makes me drool every time I see it cruising around town.
