By far the fastest Download I have seen here and from the previous version. You must live close to a node and have very people on it.

I was like that for a while at my old place. But those were the good old days.

I just ran the test about 6 times and took the best number. To be honest, the first test was about average with everyone here. 6k down, 1.5 up. 2nd test was 27 down, 2.2 up. 3rd, 4th and 5th tests were about the same as the first, then the 6th test was the ringer. I don't know where the node is or where I am in relation to it here in Romulus, but I do live in the least populated area of the city.

With a 6 ms ping time, if that app wasn't a crappy flash app, it would be higher. My desktop at work is on gig-e all the way out.. I get 18-20 megabytes a second on giganews downloads... nothing like downloading a 12 gig file in 10 minutes. =)

I get 500/120 with my budget cable package, which includes a cable modem for free and 70~some channels for $75/mo. It ain't the fastest by far. But, it gets the job done. :)
