Everyone with a running street car should go run True Street. It's a blast. Anyone with a quick street car should run because it's a blast and there is cash to be had! If the turnout was like last year, an 11 second car would be taking home some money running heads up. Goodluck folks!

I am not able to make it unfortunately.

Trying to make it after all! Test passes + 30 Mile cruise + Race + Shootout should be very intertesting.

I wish I had the money to pick up a new pair of radials for the '65, I'd be all about this! Hopefully you can make it!

I'll be going there sunday just to watch my car is way to slow and I dont want to embarrass my self out there. I might take it and put it in the car show and try and win a new dust collector.

You are allowed to add fuel when you get back from the cruise and/or between passes.

--Joe

There is no adding of fuel allowed. Fill before the cruise only. I just read the rules pdf file. I filled my 15 gallon tank last year just wanting to see how much I burn. 2 gallon cell up front also which is OVERKILL. I probably burn 2 cups of fuel through the nitrous system per pass if that... I burnt about 5 gallons total. Cruise, 3 passes, burnouts, return road... Fuel isn't an issue but it was lame putting $180 worth of fuel in at one time.. hahaha

Also... no lifting hood EVER, you can open the trunk 1 time only after the cruise, before first pass to open a bottle or fill an ice intercooler. no adding air to tires, only allowed to drop them down, no starting of the engine during the cool down period between the cruise and first track pass. Fans and water pumps can be turned on though if they are electric.

Some stuff I wasn't aware of. :)
