Speed camara on bridge.

So on my way home (North Carolina) I see speed camara mounted to the top of the guard rail pointed down on the freeway. Just temp. mounted and will be moved soon. Still looking for more info on this. I thought they needed to have your face in the speeding car. I moved to a place with smooth roads and now I can't speed. :headscrat
 
are you sure it wasnt just a traffic cam? they have those all over the place here in Philly.

I believe the laws are different per state for speed cameras.
 
Keep in mind the camera needs the license plate number. I don't think NC has front plates, do they? Ohio, that's a different story.
 
On my home they where gone. No front plates here. It is just a survey to see if they are going to start using them. Man that will hurt my wallet.

Mizzi, Its just a traffic flow camera. there is a huge push for more public transportation in Wake and the surrounding countys. I just did a survey (required by work at GE) for it.
