We have in our showroom one of each of the special edition Subaru cars. The one car we have is #368 Subaru Wrx Sti Limited. For those that don't know this is an Sti that does not have the big wing on the rear, but they added leather, heated seats, and a few other creature comforts not found in a normal Sti. The best thing is the price only went up $900.00 over the cost of a regular Sti. They only made 800 limited Sti's, 400 white and 400 grey. All of the white ones were sold on the west coast. The one we have is the new for 2007 Urban Grey. This car is sharp.
The other car that we have is the all new Legacy GT Spec B. This is upgraded over lasts years Spec B, with the introduction of the Sti 6-speed transmission (without DCDD), new exterior color along with a new 2-tone interior. One other big feature in 60/40 split fold down rear seats. Subaru even threw in Sirius radio and a i-pod jack. Subaru also added Si drive. This alows the driver to chose from 1 of 3 preprogrammed computer settings for power. The first setting (intelligent) is 173 horsepower with no boost. The second setting (sport) is the 250 horsepower of last years Spec B. The last setting (sport sharp), brings the horsepower to 280 (which narrows the gap betweei it and the Sti)
My suggestion is that if someone is looking for a fun all weather car that will give most stock V8 cars a run for their money and still get great gas mileage, and really don't have to worry about that "my car didn't hook syndrome", and then when it does decide to snow you DONT have to put these away, because of their all wheel drive capability.
With the Sti having 300 horsepower and the Spec B has a maximum of 280 horsepower from the factory (out of flat 4 cylinder engines) really makes for some exciting platforms to build from. I have seen some Sti's making huge horsepower numbers and again with the ability to drive in the winter time makes for a excellent all around car.
Give me a call, my name is Martin and my number is 248-341-8063. Hurry because these cars will not last long.
