I had my first little Bear encounter. I was out at NW Trek (http://nwtrek.org) with a photography group.

I didn't stick around long enough for a perfect shot. That's 210 MM @ 1/25, handheld.. Canon IS for the win?
 
Almost looks like it was charging! A bear is not something I want to come across. Were you carrying?
