I go in for my second interview today for the modeling thing. The do some talking, go over my pictures and next thing I know I'm shaking their hand and they're telling me "Congratulations"


How the hell did this happen. I wasn't even interested at first. Oh well.
 
We have trunk as Vince Vaughn, Darko is Frank the Tank with his new car... And now a regular Zoolander with Blu! Sounds like the makings for a movie.

That's illegal AFAIK in the state of Michigan. Maybe with DeVos being so pro business that will all change. :laugh:

Twilight...did you go to the big interview thing this weekend? That's the one in Troy right?

My gf was there as well and got asked back for an interview...did some investigating and it's like $300 for pictures and $30/month. It's pretty much a scam if that's the one you're talking about.

A REAL modeling agency does not charge you anything...they just have you sign a conract that says they are going to get 20% or whatever...I have a buddy that is signed up with Top Model or something and he hasn't paid a dime...

I can second this, I didn't want to rain on the parade though. My girlfriend is signed with 3 of top agencies in detroit (I Group, Affiliated, and talent shop). She gets the sweet accounts. TFP or TFCD hell any pictures are alot of $$$ any way you look at it. You want the best shots you have to book with the best photographers.

Those Modeling trade shows are sketchy sometimes.

I just asked her, and she said usually if an Agency is legit, it will be a member of the Screen Actors Guild. Good luck though
