Someone come finish my truck

Roadrage

Easily Irritated
I have run out of energy and motivation. I got 4 dollars for whoever finishes installing the engine.

Thats what I am doing...but I only can work on it for a few hours a night, so its taking FOR-EV-ER. I am so unmotivated.

I got a guy for the wiring. I really dont have anything hard left to do..just had to locate the drivetrain it the thing and fab up a couple pieces. If I spent a solid day on it, I would probably finish it.

302 HO?
Stock?

well, the heads arent HO heads, but the intake and everything are off an HO. I bought a sorta fresh shortblock from someone and used the intake and maf harness off of an HO. The block is a roller block, but its a flat tappet cam, have no idea what the specs on it are though.

That cam might not work well with the efi.. i'd buy something that you know will work rather than have to "pull it out" later ;)

lol seems like too much work for a stock motor, especially if it doesn't even have e7s or do you have something better?

Honestly, it wasnt even in the plans to put a 302 in...but I kept blowing up the 3.0's and got sick of swapping motors to have a no balls truck. I have about 500 dollars tied up into the 302/aod swap, so it is definitly a cheap project. The heads are D8OE, I hear they suck, but I dont care:lol: If I decide to keep the truck, I will be building another engine for it over the winter.
