Seems kind of odd that these were self pics sent to him. How fucked up are these kids to be sending him this stuff. Makes you wonder how many of them he may have had sex with.

Manipulating a young mind isnt hard when youre a trusted teacher i'd imagine. Add in all the issues of the time, disconnected parents, divorces...sad long list. I have a 5 year old, and one on the way, i'm praying for society.

Just on more reason among a long list of why I won't be bringing a child into this world. Society is in a virtual free fall from having morality. Parents have such an extremely tough job these days of raising children. There are more dangers by the day. I say "Good Luck" to parents raising children in our world today.

I agree that it's frightening....But rewarding at the same time. I was of the same opinion for years, but as we all know, the Good Lord never gives us more than he thinks we can handle......:thumbsup: However, I do applaud your decision not to reproduce.....:lol:

What verse is that? There are two obvious issues with your supposition. First, you're suggesting that God is responsible for evil and not man exercising his free will and second, that God isn't sure what we can handle, which is to say that God isn't omniscient - a necessary attribute of being God.

What surprises me, at some level, is that a dozen middle school aged kids consented to being photographed in various stages of undress. Kids aren't self-conscious any more? My guess, and this is only a guess, is that the kids involved were sexting their boyfriends/girlfriends and somehow the teacher came in possession of the images.

The only positive thing I can think of reading that article is that it doesn't appear the kids were physically assaulted. FWIW
 
Mark, my comments were completely directed at Matt saying he didn't want children. The "Good Lord" part is a light-hearted reference to my shift in philosophy after having 4 children i roughly 6 years. Don't think for a moment that I'm not appalled at the actual events that this thread is about. Religion has nothing to do with it. I think perhaps you took my comments a bit out of context.

I was in the same mindset. It's amazing the power of the WIFE! She talked me into two...lol Like, Jim, said, the reward is greater than teh risk, and i would never change what i have now.
