horsepower is related to rpm...hp is high because youre spinning at 9000 rpm

Not at all. All things considered that amount of TQ is in smallish big block territory.

The torque numbers are a little on the low side.. doesn't mean the car won't run good, cause i'm sure it will. They have a very good transmission behind it as well. The LSX shootout is banning the twin carbs though so that is going to rain on that 433 inch motor.

That is damn good torque!. You can't have hp without torque and rpms.
