More... came to a smooth $1K. more than the boats probably even worth considering the floor was rotting out, but it was what the customer wanted and he was very happy with the results

Damn! I can't say you didn't earn the money though. I remember rubbing out a single stage Red Mustang I bought like 10yrs ago. The thing was Pink and by the time I was done, I was Red :lol:

yea old single stage painted cars suck, they look great when you're done rubbing/waxing them, but after a few washes they just look like garbage again. you really need to wax them every time you wash them to keep them up. boats are very similar with their gel coats, one summer of neglect and you're stuck to wheeling them out every spring. if you have a boat since new and keep them waxed religiously they will stay looking great for a long time.
the shorts i was wearing one of the days working on that boat still have a pink tint to them on the front :lol:
