i was going through my photobucket and cam across a page that was a bunch of pictures i had taken from work in about a weeks stretch...some of the stuff i did, some of it just the "normal" kinds of stuff we get in. the bentleys are Joe Dumars, he's a regular custo (well i have to go to his house actually and get his cars...) the 30something foot boat, we had 2 of the exact same boat in a matter of a week. two guys trailered their boats from the florida Keys just to get detailed at my work....crazy rich mofos.....anyways, enjoy, oh the little red boat is one i did, that's a typical POS job that i get in....

My friends dad owns a ferrari/maserati dealership, the old ferrari delivery trailer is now my friends race trailer (he races a C5 vette in SCCA's ITE/TCC class...)
Anyways, i wheeled the trailer out for him when he got it because we took all the stickers off and it looked like hell....

Damn, nice work. That Denali looks similar to Keith Smith's (Lions) Denali, but he is on 26s now lmfao.

thanks, yeah there's really nothing gross or disgusting that i have not seen before at my work, i just use a "foamy" interior cleaner, and my steam cleaner to do the carpets, it's mostly just a lot of manual scrubbing power....and those "mr clean magic sponges" but the offbrand ones i get from my supplier...those things are fucking amazing at getting vinyl and leather clean....

hell one time i had an expedition to do an interior on, i was suprised the guy told me the story, but his wife was really really sick, so he was rushing her to the ER when she died on the way, let out all bodily fluids when she died (all over the expedition that i had to clean it was fucking nasty) anyways, gets her to the ER, they pumped her with whatever and revived her, ended up the lady had gangreen (sp?) of her intestins and it was poisoning her body...and it killed her...but now she's strait....but yeah i have seen it all, there isn't one thing i haven't seen at my work and it always comes out clean!

Looks like you guys had ome really high dollar rides in there.

yeah, generally on any given day throughout the summer the total value of the cars that come through our shop are more then my house

I was picking up a regular customers 5 series BMW from his work one time and i ask his secretary "is sam around i'm here from detail express blablabla..."

she gets the keys for me and asked "do you guys clean like normal cars at your shop or is it only really expensive cars?" and she was dead series like we only do top dollar stuff, but i was like "yeah we do it all"

hell i've done 30 foot offshore boats and i've even done a damn paddle boat before! motorcycles to jet ski's...one customer brought his golf cart in to get detailed! it's crazy what rich people bring in to get cleaned....

OMG i refused to detail a dead dudes ride at my old work... it was bad enough i drove it in without knowing.. the smell was THE nastiest smell ever!

well the chick lived which was good, but yeah it was nasty. at first it wasn't bad because it was the middle of winter and all the shit was frozen, but once i started steam cleaning it and it warmed up....fuck was it nasty!! i had my respirator on and everything, then i let the ozone machine run in it for half a day!

i had to detail a car once that had a deer go through the windhsield, the glass cut it open and it went everywhere. basically had to dissassemble the interior and powerwash everything

damn that's sick! i've had a few cars come in from body shops before that were similar but with human guts in them rather then deer :pukey:

speaking of nasty animal parts though, once i got a trailblazer in and after the guy got home one night, a little raccoon found a nice warm spot to sleep in the fan shroud next to the radiator....next morning home boy goes to work and the fan did a number on mr. raccoon. bones, hair, guts everywhere inside the engine bay. spent a good while under there with the degreaser and power washer. it smelled so foul as well!

i havent had to clean up any of that nasy shit, but the parts guy at the dealer i worked at told em when he was a porter he ahd to clean up a few suicide cars, said it was fuckin nasty

Damn, and to think that there's probably nothing on the vehicle histories of these cars that warns people what happened in it before it was cleaned. I wouldn't want a car that someone blew their brains out in!

yeah that's kinda eerie to think about, but really there's no detection of anything gross once a car leaves my work
