man watching this again almost makes me wish i didnt up load it. was funny is i play it good when the camera is off and when its on i mess them up take after take!. oh well, here are a few main riff iv been messing around with. they are all pantera songs.

I suggest you should buy a metronome. It makes a nice portable drummer but only the high hat part. Practice Sweep picking/alternate picking. Down picking pantera songs ruins the flow of the riffs.

thanks for the tips! the songs in that video sound like crap i think. but im pretty sure dime did alot of down picking....

James Hetfield sux. :)

It is about impossible to only pick one way quickly. A little flick of the wrist with some back and forth action will help with accuracy and timing.
