Just too strict. I posted over on g8board.com and mentioned one thing about my father-in-laws G8 going on the dyno @ Livernois and I was banned. :dunno: I can see a warning, or editing the post MAYBE, but banning??? Come on. Looks like we wont be sending them any money to sponsor since I can't view it to determine if its worth it...

Am I wrong here? Saso, shut the fuck up... :angel:

I am pretty sure someone (competition to livernois, that is local) complained. However I have NEVER seen anyone banned on any board for stating something like that. When I first goi banned it said:

You have been banned for the following reason:
Spamming g8board.com with non-sponsor info.
Date the ban will be lifted: Never


Now it says:

You have been banned for the following reason:
No reason was specified.
Date the ban will be lifted: Never
 
AFAIK, G8board is operated by the same guy who owns LS1GTO. I don't know who locally would complain. Hell, here is Chris looking for a car to tune. His ID doesn't say that he is a sponsor so I don't think it would be them. I think you just pissed off the wrong moderator or something.

The dumb thing is they just sent me the sponsor rate info. I didn't put ANY contact info, no link, no phone. I just mentioned livernois being where it was going on the rollers.

The only time I feel a ban should happen is if there is someone that repeatedly ignores warnings. I got none...
 
Ssssssandy quit your bitching. Take the higher road and contact a mod. I can't tell you how many reported posts by you. They are only doing the same thing. They just took it a step farther. They must know you. :D
 
X2 on boards that are way too strict, I used to go on stangnet all the time before they decided to cater to 12 year olds with the BS language filter and ridiculous post rules. Cant even post a funny ebay ad because its considered spam to them. Motown FTW
