So yesterday was nice...Washed my car, got it real pretty and then...I left it alone for a few hours. Come back and I find this.

Note, I just had to have the bumper repainted not 5 months ago because a girl at work backed into it. Now...this....I'm so upset. I can't have a nice car for more then a few months before someone pulls this shit and takes off. Just in time for spring too!

That sucks bro. If you parked away from people, I would hate to think this, but it's almost like some asshat did it intentionally. It's not like you parked in a crowd, and someone accidentally pulled up too far. When I see a nice car parked far, I stay away. I don't care if I'm in my truck, or my Mustang...I still park somewhere else because I know how people get pist.

My black 96 Cobra's cover is all chipped up too. I just pulled my cover off Saturday and I am repainting it Wednesday night. Mine has been messed up for years. I just hate when they look all new cause then every single rock chip or whatever pisses me off.

Nope. Took it to Mr.C's in GP. They always so a great job. This after driving out to AMC 20.

This kinda crap makes me want to just get a normal car so I don't care so much, but whats teh fun in that right? Sigh.

I have a nice gash in the side of my car (brand new – purchased in Jul ’08) because some asshole couldn’t control how fast his door opened.
 
People are fucking morons. Saturday night we stop at the liq. store after bowling to
grab some refreshments and some kid backs into my Charger that just turned 400 miles.
Luckily no damage but I fucking flew out of that car!
Little bastard was acting like he was gonna book too until I was behind him
getting his plate. :rant:

ugh! I feel your pain, St. ignace 07 I parked my car across the street from a restaurant and some fuckface did the same thing to me.
 
that sucks, looks like he hit you at a decent speed too. thats no love tap unless the paint was crappy...

Thats one of the reasons i stopped DD'ing a nice car. Ill still drive em occasionally, but not usually.

SVT32, you said you dont park next to people when they park far off, but I always try to. I figure that if I was out there, Id rather be surrounded by cars in which people give a shit and wont ding it...strength in numbers
 
That sucks dude,sorry to hear that. I hate people like that. If it makes you feel any better this was my car a while back right after I washed it and was driving to school.

That sucks man! Sorry to hear that. Thats why I drive an old beater truck as my daily driver. Whenever I take the Stang out on nice days I'm never more than a few feet away from it when its parked.
 
even when you park away its ... the same as when your taking a piss in a public bathroom...... with 20 urinals and some ass clown decides he is going to piss in the urinal right next to you?? Wow Really.. The best spot is next to someone that has a nice car!!
