That sucks. I saw this problem on the news. They are gonna make them require a specific license to scrap stuff so these dicks can be caught. At the yard I take scrap to I see street signs, parking meters, hydrents(sp) and a bunch of crap I pay taxes for that I know shouldnt be there. When ever Im in the city I always see Sanford and Son look-a-likes. They come back and steal the copper I install (job security I guess). Its usually on churchs to top it off. Pricks like that always get theres one way or another, thell pay even if its there fuc*ed up way of life witch you know must suck to live. Good luck. I can give you some copper pieces they cant resist to lure them in. Its like setting out bread in a flock of segals. They will come.

My truck is at work, and we have a lot of scrap aluminum here. I know it was one of the white trash fags that are always up here begging to get our scrap. One day they will fuck up and I will catch them.
 
Yep. it only had one bolt holding it in because I needed to take it in and out of the truck to mock everything up.

Makes me think about all the parts stacked up in my garage. I ought to take them to a scrapyard.
 
I dont think you would get much for a single radiator. I'm pretty sure they pay by the pound at scrapyards. and from what I understand its not that much a pound...so they probably have a pile of stolen radiators somewhere and are gonna cash them in all at once.

Sorry to hear about that man. It sucks getting stuff stolen from you. They'll get theirs someday. Carma is a bitch.
 
Scrap aluminum is paying anywhere from .75 to .88 per lbs depending where you go. we had someone break into our yard at the shoplast weekend they drove the truck right thru the fence and took some scrap outta here. We even had them come in during the day and take shit while we were still open they were throwing into the trunk of there lincoln. They always walk into the shop and start drooling, whip out a huge wad of cash and ask how much they can buy. Our foreman about 6'5 400lbs chases them out. kinda funny to watch

What area are you in. We have some old fogie scrap guys that come around the shop to grab the junk once a week and they seem to know everybody on the planet. I might be able to get a list of names for you to check into.
 
We have a couple groups of guys that always come around looking to buy scrap. Odds are its one of them. I'll be setting them up in the near future.

Q, I need a specialty radiator, not a stock Ranger piece...and they usually go for around $350...real bite in the ass.
