I was with some friends leaving a wedding rehearsal party at Fish Bones Downtown and a friend of mine, being the nice guy he is, gives his left over bbq ribs to a man begging for money. He said thanks and continued to ask all of us for money... we keep walking, get in the car and as we're leaving, what do we see? My man showing some other guy the ribs and handing them over and taking money. The bastard sold them! :icon_mrgr :laugh: :dontknow:

i had the same incident with a "bum"....i bought a couple double cheeseburgers for a guy hoding up a work for food sign...i figured i was trying to be a good person..well that frudy i went to the bank to cash my unemployment check and who did i see at the bank??!!!!??? that homeless guy...and what did he have?? a fat wad of cash...and a brand new pontiac g6!!!!! i couldnt believe my eyes!!!! and i know it was the same guy..im positive

reminds me of a time when i lived in NYC. was going out to dinner at tom's diner with a girl when a bum approached us and asked us for money. i asked him what he wanted it for (to see if he'd be honest) and his reply? "i got's me a hankerin for some apple pie" LMFAO! so we ate and i bought a piece of pie to go, and gave it to him on the way out. he was actually pretty grateful.

When I was in Dental School in Detroit students used to give the bums money, smokes, etc. I used to hand them job apps too. Turns out they don't like that. :dontknow:
