So maybe moving to Florida...

I actually love MI. I love the four seasons. I love the lakes. I simply love the state. I see myself staying. If I did move, give me something like Colorado, or Utah. Hell with FLA. Shit is too hot.

Move to Flordia and see how you like it. If you dont like it, save some money up and move back here. No big deal. Who knows...you might LOVE Flordia and never want to step foot in Michigan again!

Milan is the sticks though... What the hell do you do out there.. id get in trouble out there

I would be at the track everyday they were opened. :peelout:

The truth is, I look to see what tracks are where when I look into moving. If it's too far from a track, ain't happening.

Ya. When I was at Wyotech in Pennsalvania, Pittsburgh raceway was litarally a few minutes from my house. I thought I would be there every time it was open. And seeing that I was at a car school with a bunch of greese monkeys, we would hang out there on all our spare time. NOPE. It gets really old scraping for change, and trying to get money to sit at the track when you can sit on your couch for free watching the speed channel.

Niceville is real nice I know I live there its in the panhandle on the gulf coast and in a few years getting a badass 1/4 mile and raceway about an hour away

Ive been looking into Texas. Property is 20-30% cheaper, warm/hot all year...but leaving a company, friends, and family is tough...ive talked to a lot of people that have moved and obtaining the same close friends/connections is extremely hard to do.

I'll probably wait out 07 and see how MI does...if it doesnt turn into a huge Flint story (which i dont think will happen) i'll probably stay...

I'll give it a few more years and see what happens around here. But if I found a good opportunity that made the move worth it i'd probably go. Looking at NC,SC,GA,FL and TX. Although I would think that a south Texas summer has to be worse than anything in the south east though.

To say nothing of the people who live down there. Good grief.

The only downside to Texas is Texans.

;)

If I went down there on an interview, all it would take is one dude in tight jeans, one "dont mess with Texas" bumper sticker and one set of Yosemite Sam back off mud flaps to turn the position down and head back.
