Im driving for Stevens Transport based out of Houston Tx, gauranteed bobtailed home on the weekends, and im starting as a company driver, then next year contractor. Gauranteed 3200 to 3500 miles a week, starting pay is .27 a mile for new drivers.

3200 mile based off of 45miles per hour truck time = 71 hours

3200 x $0.27 = $864

864 / 71 = 12.16 per hour

Thats not including milage bonus, loading, unloading, ect. so ill be do pretty good.

I dont have a fam or kids, and i want to see the country. So that was one of the reasons i chose OTR for now, ill probally go local in a couple years.
