Yes GM is a global company now. So many companies have gone global. But, that car was built for americans by americans in an industry that made this country prosper. We continue to send our money off to other countries for goods we could produce here. A country that doesn't produce anything will never sustain a middle class. Our middle class is dwindling by the day.

That is a pretty nice car. Don't trash it. I would love to find a early 70's mmuscle car that clean to restore. That thing looks cleaner than the '90 Mustang GT I am just finishing up. Also, looks by the conversation on this thread that there are a lot of people who would be interested in buying it if you just want to sell it. I am one. Not sure what the bids are up to but I might be willing to pay $700 for it depending on how much of the car is there. BTW, I know you said you found it in the desert, but where exactly? I need to go shopping there!
