nice purchase. i rode one of those for a bit last season with work done to it. pretty cool pulling the skis at 100mph on the 330hp tune up. The one i rode around was a 144 ext and it was a handful on that tune, i can only imagine that a 121 is useless. Im waiting for Walsh to give the report on the 2012 z1 chassis that he just bought before I buy it though. if it is as revolutionary as they are saying it is, that will be the ultimate trail machine with a little work.
btw the one that i rode last year had a b&b exhaust and clutch kit, sounded sick. he had a lot of problems with the clutch and keeping belts together because of the diamond drive. he said the only thing holding him back on the stock turbo was the head studs not being done and he didnt want to do those until the sled went out of warranty. if you want to talk to him ill pm you his number. very knowledgeable sled guy from wisconsin who also owns an automotive performance shop.
yeah shoot me his info when you get a sec. The tune I'm getting will be around 280hp. The track on mine is 128" and will be studded with about 220 lake racer carbides, so hopefully it won't be that bad. The tune has 4 settings from stock (180ish hp) up to 280, so if it has a little too much beef on the trail, I can always flip the switch on the fly to bring it down a few notches. Pretty nice setup from what I've heard. They did recommend doing the head bolts as well. It's literally torture having this thing in my garage and not being able to ride it yet
