SNOW

GFS model is showing 30" for SE Michigan. Most showing 12"-15". Guess I better put the plow on the tractor....

Not gonna lie - I am kinda pumped because I (hope) I finally got the bugs worked out on my garden tractor. Really wanna run that 42" snowthrower through it's paces and see how she does.

I am still working remotely so I don't have to deal with the commute, kids are doing school virtually... we're stocked on food, TP, and beer so I mean...let it snow!

Only bonus was this was the first time I walked into the office at 6am and there wasn't a covid discussion taking place. People were talking about working from home the rest of the week, lmfao!!!!

They're not wrong. 2" of snow in Livingston, 2" of snow in Washtenaw, 2" of snow in Macomb, 2" of snow in Oakland, 2" of snow in Wayne... that's 8-14".

Right?

So NOAA is now showing 1/2" Tuesday overnight (sfter 4 am rain), 4" Wednesday daytime, and 3" Wednesday overnight. Daytime Thursday it just says "Snow".

The forecast for me is constantly changing, but last I checked I'm in the 12"-16" predictions. I'm leaving the Deere in the garage with the plow on it and waiting for the whole 5" we're gonna get. LOL

I should’ve bought a snowmobile years ago before the prices went wild.

I’m guessing 10” of snow.

Drifting should be bad with the winds. I plan to hit the back roads Saturday to have some fun. Too bad they’ll most likely be plowed by then. Last year I got to some areas that my Jeep was creating a path through it with drifting up to my side windows.

NOAA just adjusted their total down by an inch. Still calling for 11" though from tomorrow morning until end of day Thursday. It sounds like we are right on the edge and they can't quite make a good prediction.
