SNOW

I striped the hell out of my lawn when I had a lawn tractor. I now stripe it even better with a zero turn. I love mowing the lawn. This snow shit? Not a fan.

How long did that take, lol? I used to cut grass for a living when I was younger, now I just cut the grass at my Dad's as I am now living with him and working for him again (long story).

Ironically, he used to have a Toro zero turn....but it blew up. Twice. Lmao.

As soon as the snow is done I gotta go handle business.

We also use the tractor to unload pallets from semi-trucks. Put some forks on it and it becomes a hillbilly hi-lo.

Sometimes I go the opposite direction and turn right, but it always feels sacrilegious.

Probably get so dizzy you end up on the neighbors 'track.' Lol.

Never thought I’d get on the electric yard equipment bandwagon but in 2017 I bought an EGO snowblower (56v, used two 5 Ah batteries) and it’s been nothing short of amazing. Has the power and throwing capability of a 2 stage and never have I had to worry about shit gas, changing the oil, or any carb related problem. 3 seasons problem free (knock on wood).

How long on a full charge ?

There was one time when we got 5-6” of heavy wet snow where I drained the batteries. That’s with a 20’x20’ driveway, approach, and roughly 250’ of sidewalk (corner lot).

Besides that, never an issue regardless of quantity. The heavy snow just put a serious load on the motor.

Honda 4 stroke snowblower, I bought it in 2003 starts first pull every time. I drain the gas in the spring and run the carb dry before storing.
1 spark plug and a belt in 15 years, works awesome.

National Weather Service says 0.2 inches of ICE tonight. Holy crap! That is broken trees and power outage level ice. I am staying home for sure! Going to grab gas for the generator too just in case.
