I built this trailer last winter to carry more stuff when camping with our Jeep, but it doesn't look like I will be using it much. It is based on a HF 1000 lb trailer, 40" wide and 48" long. I replaced the axle with a 2200 lb axle, wheel spacers, Jeep steel wheels and larger 15" tires. Also added a Jeep YJ spare tire carrier and spare. The box is made of tongue and groove boards and all the joints are caulked so it is water proof. The outside is painted with exterior house paint. The lid is vinyl wrapped and hinged at the front. The tail gate is removable. Trailer pulls great and there is nothing wrong with it. If your looking for something to carry just a little bit more stuff to a campsite, this is a great trailer. PM me if interested. Trailer is located in Macomb, MI. Looking to get $600.00, but open to offers. Having trouble posting pics, so if you PM an email address, I will send pics as soon as possible.
