I have an aircooled VW motor that I race in a "restricted" class (similar to FormulaVee) that I want to tune on a dyno. It should make about 80hp. I want to test out a few ideas hoping to find an extra 1/2hp here and there. I am hoping for an engine dyno instead of chassis to eliminate the drivetrain variables. Will the big 2000+hp dynos be accurate enough at my low hp level? Or does anyone know of a motorcycle "engine" dyno in the area?
