My dog got sprayed twice in one year two years ago. Skunk didn't return after spraying.

Yeah, it's diggin for grubs, they're scavengers. I had a big problem at my last house with them and after paying someone to remove 2 I got fed up and bought my own trap. They can't spray you unless their tail is up, so if you get a trap just a bit bigger than the skink you'll be fine. You'll need to bait the trap and avois catching cats or whatever, so start with a raw egg-skunks likem them. Then, put it in a cardboard box in the trap with a hole in the side and run a dirty exhaust pipe into it, this takes forever if it's a clean vehicle, but if you have something crusty it'll be quick. Run the car for 10 minutes maybe and it'll be done.
