maybe you guys could give me some tips on reasonable upgrades for my 94 camaro. it has a k&n filter and thats the only mod. 60,000 miles auto. I just redid the intake gasket last week because of oil leak. would it be to any benifit to update the pcm or use a hypertech on a stock car. any ideas would be appreciated . this is a nice site and I need to use it more.I dont know alot about racing built my first engine last year and ran it in a 92 mustang hatch runs mid to low 12,s and then sold it. would like to get a ls1 camaro but would have to get rid of my notch first. also am keeping this camaro picked it up for 3 grand with only 50,000 miles. I am not a youngster but am new to running a car at the track, one time so far. lol. any way thank you Allen
 
I'd say headers would be a good start, along with different rear gears(3.73 with an auto trans and 4.10 with a manual seem to be the most popular)

as for a tune, i would not get a hypertech, but get a mail order tune or a dyno tune locally, both will help a stock car, but will help more on one with some mods
