I didn't mind the Motown guys using my lot but soon as one guy parks, John Q. Public and his friends pull in... I got into a little trouble with the city for people drinking pissing behind the building and it came to a point where if I wasn't on my lot I had to chain the entrances...
Steve I did have signs made a few years back that said "Motown Muscle parking only"... Not sure who has/had them last but if anyone has them they do help with unwanted parkers.

Not at all pal. Motown has been a great supporter of me and I really appreciate everyone on here. I may have no choice but do to, what the guys at the camera shop do (The DAMN group) they have writing permission to be there, and after they met with the Birmingham police, the Police now go there ever Fri and Sat night and walk the lot to make sure everyone in the lot, has proof on their person to be there. It does work, I just don't want to have to go down that road, as then I will be the ASS HOLE..... I am always willing to help anyone I can, again, I wish I had a much bigger lot, just have to deal with what we have for now.

The only shitty thing about my lot is, it is very close to houses, so the louder people are, the more complaints we get.

Im sure we can get it worked out, I am going to have to make a few changes.

We picked the stuff up 3 or 4 nights, on the 5th night when I walked out office from shutting the lights off, I said, enough is enough with that shit. I found the 2 cars that were parked where the trash was and I made sure they new, when I seen them at the gas station later that night, they were no longer welcome.

Most the guys keep it nice, and I appreciate that, but there are that some, that just don't give a shit. Sucks, but the world is full of them.

I'm willing to be the face of Assholedom if it makes usage of the lot less of a headache for Steve. By no means should you have to clean up after freeloaders using your lot for a party. Enforce a no booze and bullshit policy, follow it or get bounced out.
 
Lmao. That was funny. Let's all plan on a day to meet out there, maybe a week day evening and we can come up with a game plan. I have to be careful to make sure to keep a good rep. Last thing I need is all the neighbors in Birmingham talking about the mortgage new mortgage company in town causing issues. At the end of the day, I want all of us to enjoy it and have a great time. In the end, we lease this building and if people piss off enough people to where they start calling the owner of the building, that will suck.

I would chip in to buy a hanging tag for the rear view mirror. That way there is no question who should be there.

Last week, I parked on the street just as another car pulled away. But there were cars all over including parking in the alley. i didn't see anyone on the grass, but then again, I wasn't looking.

Thanks for making room for me & the gf out there this past weekend and giving me a card Steve! One option is to have card/badge owners self-police the lot (politely). If any issue arises have them call you or the police to kick the ass-hats out. Thanks for making this available to MM!

What time you heading out there tomorrow? I'd love to come introduce myself and meet with you if your planning on being out there for awhile. Depending on times, i can grab your first spot to hold for you, or at least hope there are some still available when i get there. I prolly won't make it till 8-8-30ish.

I'd also be willing to chip in for a mirror tag or motown sticker. If you continue the business card thing, I'd be interested as well but I won't be able to get out till after the 4th. It's great of you to at least try and share the lot with enthusiasts.
 
Any Motown folks heading out tonight? I'm planning on getting out around 8-8:30, if anyone beats me there and there is empty spots, slap a chair down to save me a spot if you don't mind, and likewise, if anyone needs the same done, i'll drop a chair when i arrive if their is empty spots.
