What really sad. The property was underpromoted and underutilized and mostly from what I hear it was the doing of the property maagement. The city simply didn't care to try and make the property earn money.

Its a shell of itself. Most of the nicer seats are gone, and are now atop the Phoenix center amphitheater. The parking lot is trashed and would need to be redone. There must be constant air circulating inside in order to keep the roof up, thus elecric bills were sky high. Must have heat in the winter, as well as the roof electric heater, so it doesnt cave in.

the 600,000 paid is the tip of the iceberg needed for that place.

they didnt demo it back in the day, because it would have cost the city millions.
