Silverdome Drive In?

Just saw that it's open, guess I never really paid attention to it. Anyone been? I'd like to see Iron Man 2 while it's in theaters but I'm due on Sunday and we don't have a babysitter to watch our toddler. Thought it be perfect, this way I can be comfortable and he can come with us. Apparently it's a double feature, but I have no desire to see Clas of the Titans, would we be able to just leave?

Just wondering quality/crowd type/ etc. Tix seem cheap, same with food.

Never been to a drive in before either...

I worked at a drive-in when I was in high school.....

How much are the tickets?
 
Never went to that one...only Ford/Wyoming...always enjoyed that one. Liked how I could listen on my stereo.

The Compuware Arena on Beck near 5 mile has the drive in thing going. All the sounds comes through the car stereo there too.
 
I think the Silverdome should be pretty decent, although it isnt in the best of neighborhoods. That area between Opdyke and MLK isnt total ghetto, but its well on its way there.

its close enough to the freeway. I went and saw that jake gyllenhall movie about the earth flooding and freezing in 3 days or whatever, cant remember the name. Anyhow that was back in like 2004 I think. Silverdome was cool to watch a movie at. Maybe Ill take the gf out in the Lincoln to go watch Iron Man
 
Me and the gf have been talking about going to the Dome for a flick or 3 this summer. Tonight would be a good night, too much shit going on though.
 
The last time I went to the drive-in I saw Police Academy 5 and Beetlejuice (double feature). We were in my mom's Chevy Citation X11.

I distinctly remember two particular times I went with my parents to the drive in that used to be n the corner of hall rd and gratiot. Once we went and saw who framed roger rabbit, me and my lil brother watched from the roof of my dads beretta GT, lol...the other time we saw honey i shrunk the kids and i watched it from the back of my moms astro van, turned around so we could lay down without any seats
 
We moved! We're a little bit farther now, not much. 12 mile-ish :) Keep an eye out for the silver Pacifica... as long as I'm not in labor (due tomorrow) we'll be there!!
