Siemens NX 9.0 Users

Anyone on MM using this software? I'm supposed to learn this for my engineering drawing class, but I'm struggling. It doesn't help that I don't have any CAD experience and there is a massive language barrier between the professor and the rest of the class. If you're using this and can give me some pointers, I would greatly appreciate the help. I'm about ready to pull my hair out and this is only the third class.
 
i have been runing NX for a long time current on nx 8.5 but all 9 is the next upgrade. If you have any question you need awnsered let me know.

I have lots of questions. The program doesn't feel intuitive to me. So I spend most of of my time wondering how the heck do I get revolve to work or you want me to extrude what?

Do either of you have time to teach a newb a few tricks on how to use this program? I feel like a fish out of water...LOL
 
I have years of Catia V5 experience and I-Deas & ProE before that. Are your questions more about design methodology (Which functions to use to get the desired result?) or about the tool itself? Most CAD software packages are pretty similar so we could all help if you post screenshots of what you need.

Most of my questions are about design methodology. I'll post a screenshot later today of what I ended up with versus what it was supposed to look like...LOL I have three drawings due Monday. I'll probably start working on them tomorrow. I am amazed at how long it takes me to complete a drawing compared to how long the book says it's supposed to take.

P.S. You guys are awesome.
 
I can't figure out why I'm getting this message. I can't attach the .pdf from this machine. For some reason I get the error message that I took a screenshot of. What step am I missing in order to do the Subtract and two side functions?

So I deleted that drawing and started over again. I am about 3/5ths of the way through, but I'm stuck on which lines or part of the sketch I need to click on so I can select the Through All option from the limits drop down menu.

Justin, thank you again for all of your help. I've decided to build one of my bicycles for my final project. I'm excited and nervous. Wish me luck. I'll post up how it looks before I turn it in.
