I was thinking about running a side exhaust on my mustang. Im going to weld in either moroso spiral flows or some plain jane cherry bombs just after the H and then run dual tips out the side. What would sound better, the spirals or the bombs. the car still has the cats. Or should i just fork out the $700 and get the steeda kit.
 
i am not a fan of the cherry bomb sound at all. might want to look into the magnaflow... i believe they have a side exit kit too
 
this has been a debate of mine for a while.....fork out the dough a buy a kit dont do it half assed,cherry bombs are for old beater chevy trucks.....lol
 
yeah i dont really like cherry bombs but i've never heard them on a mustang so i figured i would throw it out there. The only kit that i think looks good is the steeda kit. it's just so damn expensive lol. I was thinkn about the slp but i've heard some cars with that out at woodward and it's loud, not to loud, it just doesnt sound good. right now it has some s44's on it and it sounds decent just not loud enough. thnks for the advice.
 
a buddy had them on a 302 with bbk shorties and an off road h... it sounded like the devils asshole on t bell night. dont go that route. i thought about side exits but i agree with what was said above. it just donst look good most the time. if you go with the 95cobra r or rouch groung effects on the side it looks better for sure. but i cant get used ot not having tailpipes
