Should I paint it or not ?

bright atlantic blue is really close to the color on my car.. KF Bright Blue. I hated the color when I first got the car but the longer I have it the more it grows on me.. Oh that hood... I think I would change it..
 
I went out and looked at the hood and I think it's gonna stay on. It will be something to talk about. Give the car some character.
 
I'm confused- are you selling the car or keeping it? If you're going to sell it, you need to figure out how much you'll reasonably get for it, and how much the paint job will cost. If you're like me and don't have a hookup, you're going to spend more on a quality paint job than the car will be worth. Another question about the hood- how much clearance do you need for the 408? I am pretty sure that won't fit under a stock Cobra hood.

I told my wife I was buying it to sell it but I really want to keep it. I have a paint job lined up and I think that will happen regardless of the car's future. I never am satisfied with a car and like to buy sell and trade. If I can do that I will also. I guess I'm always confused too....haha

Put some headlights in it too. Those yellowed lenses make even the best paint jobs look like shit. And another vote for getting rid of that hood. I would imagine however it was fastened that it will eventually pop and make your new paint look like crap
 
that seriously has to be the hood off my old roller when i first bought it i can't see someone else making another one of those lol.

And i would say if you do plan on selling it the current paint would hurt the value of the car.

Here is my issue with the hood, the cowl is square with a promounced body line up the middle - the SN95 has a round shape

That's how I feel too, same way with square cowls on fbody cars. It just don't seem to follow the body.
