i have a big block chevy 1972 454 block the car is a 67 camaro 400th trans ..
its a 14-1 engine
my problem is i cant seem to find that magic point that the starter is happy
it either grinds or skips teeth its a 168 tooth flywheel and a proform starter it currently has 4 or 5 shims and the apendix keeps on sticking.. anyone one else have any advise or has experieced this problem i even but a stock starter to see if that played a factor ( same problem accured)
